(p.106) Mary Lou is saying how Alex Cheevey makes her feel. Mary Lou states that her brain turns to mush and her muscles start melting.

I think it is really funny how Marry Lou is obsessed with Alex and how she is constantly is thinking about him.

(p.102) Mary Lou is saying that she is going to write about Carl Ray tomorrow because she hasn’t explained what happened to him because she was to busy talking, thinking,and writing about Alex and how madly in love she is.

Mary Lou is allways thinking about Alex, she is so caught up with Alex that she didn’t write about her family.

1. Describe Beth Ann’s new behavior. How dose Marry Lou feel about it?

Beth Ann is acting rood because she has a new boyfriend and her new boy friend is all she cares about. Mary Lou is annoyed because she feels that she isn’t important in Beth Ann’s life anymore and that Beth Ann would choose her new boyfriend over her best friend. 

2. How dose Marry Lou react to Mr.Furtz death?

She couldn’t believe someone looking so healthy could have a heart attack and die. when she was writing about it in her journal she felt bad and didn’t want to write about it.

this week my job was the connector! The connector relates their real life to the story. When i was the connector I was able to make four connection. For example cousin Carl ray has very bad eating habit just like my cousin, she ate eight slices of pizza when she stayed over for the night. Another connection I made was that I had to do summer reading as well as Mary Lou did. Unfortunately i was able to another connection that is very sad, my friend’s mom died which was very sad and Mary’s neighbor died, both of the events were very sad and i wish it didn’t happen. Another connection i made that was very frustrating when it occurred was when my friend didn’t talk to me for a whole month because of what i said to her boyfriend, Beth Ann didn’t talk to Mary Lou for two whole months because of her boyfriend.

Cousin Carl Ray needed to get a new job and start a new life, and will be staying with them for a month to a whole summer.

I think they shouldent put forth all the effort to help a cousin that they are annoyed by.
